INDIANAPOLIS
Brian Joseph Holdreith, 52, of Indianapolis, passed away at 11:40 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017, in Indianapolis.
He was born September 11, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Thomas P. & Nyra Delores (Roberts) Holdreith and lived in Detroit until moving to North Vernon at the age of 7. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in North Vernon.
Brian had a love for music and adventure. He had many struggles in his life but he persevered until the end. He may not have had the best life here on earth, but there is no doubt that heaven will give him a second chance. He will be remembered for his kindness and bright smile.
He is survived by his mother, Nyra Delores (Roberts) Holdreith of Louisville, Kentucky; his daughter, Carrie Ann Holdreith of Bardstown, Kentucky; his son, Zackary Austin Holdreith of Louisville, Kentucky; his siblings, Thomas (Pat) Holdreith of Madison Heights, Michigan, Susan (Phil) Irwin of Warren, Michigan, Peter (Kathy) Holdreith of Westport, Indiana, Kimberly (Thomas) Kimsey of Louisville, Kentucky, Mary Beth Holdreith of Flint, Michigan, and Paul Holdreith of Westport, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas P. Holdreith.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen with Sister Donna Prickel officiating.
