Columbus man arrested on multiple drug charges

COLUMBUS, Indiana — A Columbus man was arrested on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop by police.

Justin D. Jacobs, 29, of 6823 Glick Drive, was arrested early Tuesday on charges of possession of methamphetamine and trafficking with an inmate, Columbus Police spokesman Lt. Matt Harris said.

Jacobs was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail, where corrections officers located additional methamphetamine that Jacobs had concealed in one of his socks.

Jacobs is being held in the Bartholomew County Jail in lieu of $72,500 bond, jail officials said.
