NEW ORLEANS — Police say a 13-year-old girl and two other people have been wounded in separate shootings in a New Orleans neighborhood.

NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports that according to New Orleans police, the girl is hospitalized in stable condition after suffering “a possible graze wound” beneath her right eye. She’d been sitting on the front porch of a home when gunshots were fired Tuesday night.

Initial police reports said the shooting happened roughly a half mile from where a man and a woman were shot earlier. Police say the victims were driving when they were approached by at least two men, who shot them for “unknown reasons.”

Further details have not been released.
