NEWARK, N.J. — State police are seeking a couple wanted in the armed robbery of a toll booth on the New Jersey Turnpike.

It happened around 7:45 p.m. Monday at Interchange 15W in Newark.

Authorities say the male driver got out of a car, pressed a knife to the attendant and demanded the cash drawer. The suspect got back in the car and drove off toward Interstate 280 west.

The newer model black Toyota Camry did not have a license plate.
