LAS VEGAS — A man showed up at the Las Vegas fire station Wednesday morning after being beaten with a baseball bat by another man.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (http://bit.ly/2w0L8G1 ) the man was hospitalized. His condition was not immediately available.

Metropolitan Police Lt. David Gordon says the man appeared at the fire station with what authorities thought were stab wounds, but said he was beaten with a bat.

Police have not identified any suspects or a motive and no arrests have been made.
