THEODORE, Ala. — A fatal shooting that authorities say stemmed from a dispute over a woman has left one Alabama man dead.

News outlets report that deputies found 36-year-old Joshua Poole with a fatal gunshot wound at a home in Theodore on Wednesday evening. Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Joseph Mahoney says 35-year-old Wesley Bohannon went to Poole’s house to confront him after learning they were talking to the same woman, and shot him during the argument.

Deputies located Bohannon and took him into custody without incident. He has been charged with murder. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
