DURHAM, N.H. — Companies looking to partner with University of New Hampshire researchers can get a closer look, speed-dating style, at the school’s Marine Innovation Day.

The daylong event Thursday at Wildcat Stadium is designed to help companies and researchers identify potential projects and partnerships and accelerate innovation in marine-related fields.

Ellen Christo, the university’s director of strategic partnerships, says many local companies could benefit from the school’s expertise in ocean engineering, seafloor mapping, aquaculture and other areas.

The UNH Marine Innovation Day is run by UNHInnovation in partnership with NH High Tech Council and The New England Council.
