GREEN LEVEL, N.C. — A kidnapped North Carolina man has been found and authorities say at least one arrest has been made.

The Times-News of Burlington reports that the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that Alejandro Gonzales was found in another county and is being treated for injuries. Investigators are working to positively identify the detained suspect, and other suspects and persons of interest are being sought.

The sheriff’s office says Gonzales’ location could not be revealed for security reasons.

Gonzales, another adult man and a 15-year-old boy were kidnapped Tuesday night, but the other two were let go in another location in Mebane. Authorities say there were three kidnappers, but no further descriptions were provided.

The sheriff’s office has scheduled a news conference for Friday morning for the release of additional information.
