MEDFORD, Ore. — An Oregon man is facing attempted murder and assault charges after allegedly attacking a woman with a rolling pin-style, back-massage tool.

The Medford Mail Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/2tQipap ) Shadow Omallah Iles pleads not guilty to an indictment of using a Ma Roller during a July 20 domestic violence attack on the woman.

Iles has a pre-trial conference hearing set for Aug. 8.

Iles is being held in the Jackson County jail on $500,000 bail.
