Kids and their parents can hang out with police officers and firefighters today during the annual Columbus Public Safety Fun Day.
The event will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the Lowe’s parking lot, 3500 10th St.
This free event is a collaboration with National Night Out and features Columbus police officers, firefighters and paramedics. Those who are in attendance, from young to old, will be able to view public safety equipment and ask questions.
Several local businesses and not-for-profit groups, such as the Columbus Young Marines, are scheduled to have information tables set up.
