RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities searching a North Carolina lake for a possible drowning victim have found a body.

Local media outlets report the body was found in Falls Lake north of Raleigh about 9:45 a.m. Saturday.

The Wake County Sheriff’s Office say the person recovered is 23-year-old Emmanuel Diaz Juarez of Raleigh. It’s unclear if he’s the struggling swimmer visitors called about Friday evening.

Search teams could not find anyone following the call, and the search was suspended around 9 p.m. due to lightning.
