Kristen Wright and Thomas Oakes, both of Nashville, Tennessee, announce their engagement.
Ms. Wright is the daughter of Jerry and Rose Wright of Columbus. She is a 2008 graduate of Columbus North High School and a 2012 graduate of Belmont University and is employed as an event services manager at Tennessee Performing Arts Center.
Mr. Oakes is the son of Mary Kay Oakes of Denver and is a 2010 graduate of William Fremd High School and a 2013 graduate of Belmont University. He is sales and marketing manager at Friendly Arctic Printing and Design.
The wedding will be Oct. 7, 2017, in Nashville.
