MACON, Ga. — A head-on collision in Georgia has left one man dead and one woman critically injured.

The Telegraph of Macon reports that a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office release says that 45-year-old William Miller and 45-year-old Paula Carter were in a Ford Fusion that collided with a Nissan Murano driven by 56-year-old Gilda Johnson on Saturday night in Macon.

Miller, who was driving, was pronounced dead at the hospital an hour after the accident. Carter is in critical condition at the Medical Center, Navicent Health. Johnson is listed in stable condition.

According to the release, Miller’s vehicle crossed over into Johnson’s lane, and the two cars collided.
