BATON ROUGE, La. — Authorities say a Louisiana man found in a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds has died.

Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. Don Coppola says 30-year-old John Offord died at a hospital Sunday morning.

The Advocate reports police responded to the shooting around 5:45 p.m. Saturday. Offord was found in the driver’s seat of a light-colored SUV suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say there are no known suspects or motives at this time. Further details have not been released.
