FARGO, N.D. — Authorities have identified a Fargo woman killed in a crash north of the city over the weekend.

The Highway Patrol says 28-year old Erica Peterson was a passenger in a car that left a Cass County road just north of the Fargo airport, went in the ditch, vaulted over the road, rolled and came to a stop against a tree in the front yard of a home.

Peterson died at the scene Saturday afternoon. The driver and another passenger were taken to a hospital with what the patrol said were serious injuries. Charges are pending against the driver.
