NEW YORK — Police in New York City say three people have been injured after a crash between two taxis sent one cab careening into an outdoor restaurant.

Authorities responded to the crash at Wahlburgers in Manhattan around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Police say the force from the crash pushed one cab onto the sidewalk where patrons were eating.

Investigators say the vehicle struck a family at a table. Police say three people including a 1-year-old boy were injured. Police say the boy suffered a minor cut to his leg. Authorities say two passengers in one of the cabs were taken to a hospital.

Police say they are waiting to review surveillance video from the restaurant to determine who caused the crash.
