SWANSEA, S.C. — A South Carolina man who authorities say pepper-sprayed and stabbed another man has been arrested.

News outlets report that the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department says 37-year-old Jacob Harley of Swansea has been charged with attempted murder and possessing a weapon during a violent crime in the early Sunday morning attack.

Investigators say Harley wanted to fight the unidentified victim, so he drove to his home.

The victim is expected to recover from his injuries.

Harley is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center without bond. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
