The Columbus Indiana Philharmonic has announced its raffle winner, Steven Rix of Lutz, Florida.
Rix’s ticket, number 48, was drawn at the Chevrolet of Columbus dealership Saturday for the Philharmonic’s second Corvette raffle fundraiser. Because the fundraiser sold fewer than 750 tickets, the rules call for the winner to split the net proceeds with the Philharmonic.
The Philharmonic is paying the required state and federal taxes on the winnings on behalf of the winner.
Funds raised through the raffle benefit the Philharmonic’s youth music education programs including the Columbus Indiana Children’s Choir and the Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.
