Brian’s picks – August 3

  1. You’ve got to love the energy and enthusiasm of Terry Lee and the Rockaboogie Band set to bring a high-strung energy to classic rock at the Columbus Area Arts Council’s free JCB NeighborFEST from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today outdoors in front of The Commons, 300 Washington St. The Hoosier band plays cover tunes from Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Little Richard and a range of other artists. 2. Forty years after his last adventure, Peter Pan finds himself in a job that steals time from his family and makes his life miserable in the 1991 movie “Hook,” presented at dusk Aug. 12 at the Bartholomew County Public Library Plaza, 536 Fifth St. in Columbus.
