ST. GEORGE, Utah — Police in southern Utah say they’ve recovered a decomposed woman’s body in a wash along the Santa Clara River.

St. George Police said a man taking a morning walk Saturday called for help after seeing the body.

Police are working to identify her.

The body, which has been sent to the coroner’s office, likely came from upstream.

Police are investigating, but it’s unclear whether foul play is suspected.
