DARBY, Pa. — Police are investigating a stabbing death near Philadelphia that occurred just hours after a shooting a block away that killed two people and injured a third.

Police in Darby in Delaware County were called to the scene just before noon Saturday, where the victim was found inside a building and died shortly afterward.

Authorities earlier released a surveillance photo of a suspect being sought in a 10:30 p.m. Friday shooting a block away in Colwyn.

Police said at least 10 shots were fired at a group of people on a corner, killing a 16-year-old youth and a 20-year-old man and wounding a 15-year-old youth

No arrests have been reported in either case.
