Daniel R. Roberts, 57, of Nashville, passed from this life at 5:40 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Daniel was employed with Sherwin-Williams as an Assistant Manager.
A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed basketball and golf.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with the Rev. David Scaggs officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
In keeping with Mr. Roberts’ wishes, cremation is planned following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brown County High School Athletic Department.

Daniel was born in Columbus, September 6, 1959, to Bob and Sue West Roberts.
He married Jeri Zink on January 13, 1979.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Jeri Roberts; children, Drake Roberts of Nashville, Allysa (Bob) Scaggs of Westport, Erin (Ben) Davis of Greensburg and Kylie (Zack) Roberts of Nashville; parents, Bob and Sue Roberts of Columbus; brothers, Jim (Diana) Roberts of Batesville and Rob (Tammy) Roberts of Seymour; grandchildren, Drake and Kate Scaggs, Cole and Cooper Davis, Hannah and Madi Allen and Brooklynn, Bralynn, Brennan and Abel Stanley.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Roberts.
