CAMPOBELLO, S.C. — A South Carolina man has been arrested after a woman says she was repeatedly assaulted on her property.

The Spartanburg Herald-Journal reports that 51-year-old Roy Anthony Holcombe was arrested Thursday and charged with kidnapping, assault, third-degree battery and trespass after warning in connection with a series of alleged incidents beginning July 11.

An incident report says Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies responded Wednesday to a report of a trespasser and met with a woman who identified Holcombe as a former employee who had just been in front of her home. She said she was in the process of obtaining a restraining order against Holcombe, who she says assaulted her multiple times. She said she initially didn’t report, as she didn’t want to press charges.

It’s unclear if Holcombe has a lawyer.
