SAN JOSE, Calif. — Police say a San Jose man who posed as a doctor was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman during an unlicensed examination.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/2vB2Kvx ) the San Jose Police Department on Friday arrested 47-year-old Ezequiel Aaron Dureo-Carvajal at his holistic pharmacy business.

Authorities say a woman first reported she had been sexually assaulted by Dureo-Carvajal on July 15.

Investigators say that the suspect posed as a doctor and conducted unlicensed medical examinations on the victim on multiple occasions.

Police say he was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery, invasion of privacy and the unauthorized practice of medicine. Officials say they are investigating whether there are additional victims.

It was not immediately known if Dureo-Carvajal has an attorney.
