JACKSON, Ky. — A pastor’s wife has been accused of stealing money from a medical clinic in Kentucky.

WYMT-TV reported Tuesday that Susan Combs Pratt was indicted by a grand jury last week after officials from Mercy Clinic of Jackson said she stole $1.4 million from the practice.

Pratt is charged with theft by failure to make required disposition of property charge. Commonwealth District Attorney Darrell Herald says the charge is predicated on her coming into possession of money and not disposing of it as she should have.

Pratt is married to the pastor of Living Waters Full Gospel Church in Hazard.

She was released from Three Forks Regional Jail last Thursday and will be arraigned Aug. 11 in Breathitt County Circuit Court. It’s unclear if she has a lawyer.
