WASHINGTON CROSSING, Pa. — A county prosecutor and others are investigating a death at an eastern Pennsylvania home that has also prompted crews to search the surrounding area and the nearby Delaware River.

Upper Makefield Township police confirm they were called to the home Tuesday evening and found a body. That person’s identity and cause of death have not been released.

The Bucks County district attorney, police and others — including a dive team from Trenton, New Jersey — have joined the investigation.

Authorities haven’t said why they’re investigating or whether they’re searching for a suspect.
