Rose-Marie Howell is the new head of the Adult Services Department at the Jennings County Public Library in North Vernon.
She replaces Erin Moore, who recently left the library to pursue a career in elementary education.
Howell is a graduate of Jennings County High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Indianapolis. She worked for libraries in Beach Grove and Jackson County before returning to Jennings County.
“Erin was a great asset to this library and we will miss her, but we are happy she has an opportunity to fulfill her passion in childhood education. Rose-Marie has been with our library for four years, and we have seen her work and know we are fortunate to have her,” Jennings County Public Library Director Mary Hougland said.
