Mary Lou Mastin-Gore

SHELBYVILLE

Mary Lou Mastin-Gore, 52, of Shelbyville, passed away on August 9, 2017, in Edinburgh. Mary Lou was born on March 24, 1965, in Rushville, to the late Richard M. and Ruth (McFarland) Mastin. She was a 1983 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. She married David Gore on September 21, 1988, and he survives.

Mary had worked in quality control for Hisada America since 2012. She was known as a hard worker and a very spiritual person.

In addition to her husband, David Gore, of Shelbyville, Mary is survived by her daughters, Lindsey Gore, Gracie Gore and Patience Gore, all of Shelbyville; brothers, John D. (Nancy) Mastin, Mike (Lourie) Mastin; sisters, Grace Piper, Eva (Mark) Shepherd, Laura Jo Cornelius; nieces, Anna Padfield, Piper Gore, Willow Gore and a very special niece, Charliegh Jo Cornelius; and nephew, Andrew Tucker. Several other nieces and nephews will be missing her.

Mary is preceded in death by her loving parents; and a brother, Clem Piper.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Moster Mortuary in Rushville. Pastor Ed Mohr will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 4-8 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017, at the mortuary. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery in Fayette County.
