SHUBERT, Neb. — The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a program on the Otoe-Missouria people of Nebraska.
The presentation is set to begin at 7 p.m. Saturday at Indian Cave State Park near Shubert in southeast Nebraska.
Matthew “Sitting Bear” Jones will talk about how the Otoe-Missouria people affected Nebraska and how the Louisiana Purchase and Nebraska’s statehood affected them.
