McDonald’s franchise owner Andy Ball will be the featured presenter at the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce’s SPARK networking event at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The event will be inside a warehouse at 1405 Jackson St. and is designed as an opportunity for business owners and managers to learn from their peers and to inspire residents to launch their own enterprises.
Ball owns four McDonald’s franchise restaurants, including one in downtown Columbus, and locations in Franklin, Trafalgar and Brownstown.
He began working for McDonald’s as a 17-year-old high school student and rose through the ranks, running 12 locations for a franchisee and then working for the corporate office for 12 years. In 2009, he took the opportunity to become a store owner.
