United Way of Bartholomew County’s annual kickoff lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 15 at Amazing Joe’s restaurant, 2607 Central Ave. in Columbus.
Supporters can dine anytime during that two-hour window, organizers said.
Tickets are on sale for $10, available at the Doug Otto Center United Way building, 1531 13th St.; and at Amazing Joe’s in Columbus. To arrange group sales, call 812-375-2202.
Proceeds from lunch will benefit the Bartholomew County United Way campaign, which generated $4.1 million in 2016-17 to fund 22 nonprofit agencies operating 33 programs. This year, the campaign funds 21 agencies, which range from mentoring youth to helping victims of domestic violence and assisting jobless residents to find work.
