Indiana Department of Transportation is launching a bridge-painting project along U.S. 31 that will begin next year.
The U.S. 31 northbound and southbound bridges over Indianapolis Road and the Louisville & Indiana Railroad tracks will be repainted in April 2018.
The bridges are about five miles south of Interstate 65 on the north side of Columbus.
