MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Police in Alabama’s capital city are investigating three shootings, two of which were fatal, that occurred in less than 24 hours.

Montgomery police Lt. A.T. Mitchell tells that officers responded Saturday night to a shooting call at a Montgomery Dollar General store. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say another man was shot and killed early Sunday in central Montgomery. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Finally, on Sunday afternoon a man suffered a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening in a Montgomery neighborhood. He was taken to a local hospital.

Further details, including the victims’ names, haven’t been released in any of the shootings.
