ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Authorities say a woman and her boyfriend who both are wanted for questioning about a shooting in Albuquerque last weekend have been arrested.

Officials with the U.S. Marshals Service say 30-year-old Miranda Gilbert had outstanding warrants for probation violations in New Mexico while Shannon Ray was wanted by authorities in Santa Rosa on a warrant for burglary.

They say Gilbert was spotted Monday night driving a car with stolen license plates with Ray as a passenger.

Authorities tried to conduct a traffic stop, leading to a chase.

Gilbert eventually lost control of the vehicle and struck a fence.

Albuquerque police say Gilbert was identified as the person who pointed a gun at a couple in their driveway Sunday night and then shot at them as she fled the scene.
