NEW YORK — Police in New York City are searching for a group of men who they say were involved in multiple running store robberies.

Officials say the robberies were first reported in June. According to police, the suspects quickly grabbed clothing from Manhattan retail stores before fleeing in each robbery.

Authorities say the first robbery was reported on June 20 when the group stole around $2,000 worth of athletic gear from a Jack Rabbit Store on the Upper East Side. Police say the suspects targeted a nearby Nike Running store twice in July, stealing about $3,800 in merchandise.

No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate.
