SALT LAKE CITY — Authorities in Salt Lake City are looking for a white car that may be connected to a drive-by shooting that killed one teenager and injured another.

Police say two 17-year-old boys were shot Saturday night while hanging out in the front yard of a house in Magna southwest of Salt Lake City.

Investigators believe two people fired shots at the boys before driving off in a four-door sedan that may have been a Volkswagen Jetta or a Kia. They say the shooting may be gang-related.

No names have been released.

The second boy is being treated for a leg wound. Police say his condition has been upgraded from fair to good.
