MACON, Ga. — A Georgia inmate is on the run after escaping a work detail at Central State Prison in Macon.
The Telegraph reports 37-year-old Jared Pardue, a Spalding County Prison inmate, fled Wednesday. He’s described as a white male, with black hair and brown eyes who stands about 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 225 pounds.
He was last seen operating a bobcat machine and wearing a state-issued orange shirt and white pants with a blue stripe.
According to the state Department of Corrections website, Pardue was serving a 20-year sentence for trafficking methamphetamine.
