Janet M. Hart, 73, of Taylorsville, passed from this life at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Brown Count Health and Living Community.

Mrs. Hart was formerly employed with Lowe’s Home Improvement.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star #550 in Hartsville.

The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Dr. Daniel Cash officiating.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Janet was born January 30, 1944, in Columbus. She was the daughter of Herman and Helen Hein Wolbers.

She married Kenneth Earl Hart on February 16, 1963. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2009.

Survivors include her children, Brenda (Cliff) Frady of Hope, Debbie (Bill) Fleming of Taylorsville, Becky (Joe) Scgalski of Columbus and Scott (Andrea) Hart of California; grandchildren, Ryan Shepherd, Matthew Shepherd, Leslie (Josh) Fields, Jenna Flannery, Spencer (Madison) Frady, Gavin Frady, George Fleming, A.J. Scgalski, Krista Scgalski, Karri Scgalski, Graydon Hart, Palmer Hart and Bennett Hart; great-grandchildren, Piper Flannery and Catherine Fields and a sister, Shirley Vincent of Taylorsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth Earl Hart; mother, Helen Hein Layman; father, Herman Wolbers; a daughter, Dawn Shepherd; brother, Dale Wolbers; sister, Nancy Baumann and a grandson, David Luke Scgalski.
