LEBANON, N.H. — Police in New Hampshire have arrested a Vermont man who they say assaulted a 13-year-old girl in a library bathroom.

WMUR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2wDzWn3 ) the 19-year-old White River Junction man was arraigned on charges including aggravated felonious sexual assault and felonious sexual assault on Tuesday.

Police say the assault occurred at the Kilton Public Library in Lebanon last week. Investigators say the man was with several others who were asked to leave when they became disruptive.

Police were called when the group returned to the library. Police found the man in a library bathroom with the 13-year-old victim. Investigators say the man sexually assaulted the girl and choked her.

Lebanon Police Chief Richard Mello says the man restrained the girl from leaving the bathroom.
