Pauline F. Ball

INDIANAPOLIS

Pauline Frances Ball, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 23, 2017. She was born June 13, 1924, in Jennings County, Indiana to Glenn and Helen Gault. On January 1, 1948, she married Winston Ball and he precedes her in passing.

Pauline was employed as a secretary for South Decatur High school for several years. Previously she was the first school secretary for Decatur County Sand Creek Township School. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, former member of Westport United Methodist Church, Decatur County Historical Society and Westport Rebekah’s.

Pauline is survived by her daughters, Barbara (James) Campbell and Rita (Michael) Hornbrook; grandchildren, Carissa (Tim) Clark, Bonnie (Jeremy) Moynahan, Daniel Hornbrook, Carrah Campbell, John Winston (Abby) Campbell; sisters, Mary (Robert) Laws, Genevive Wills; great-grandchildren, Campbell Clark, Camryn Clark, Wyatt Campbell, Adrian Mini, Jaden Mini, Keelyn Moynahan. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Winston; parents; siblings, Harold Gault, Ralph Gault, Charles Gault, Eunice DeVoe, Alice Grimes and Beulah Blauvelt.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2017, at Westport Christian Church 102 W. Mulberry St., Westport, IN 47283. Visitation will be 2 – 6 p.m. Sunday, August 27, at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center and from 12 p.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow at Westport Cemetery.

The family has suggested that memorial contributions be given to Christ United Methodist Church 8540 U.S. Highway 31 S. Indianapolis, IN 46227 or The Alzheimer’s Association.
