GIRLS golf

North sets records

SEYMOUR — Columbus North set a team school record, and Danbi Kim set an individual school-record with a 4-under-par 33 Monday in a 143-194 win against Seymour at Shadowood.

Kim recorded three eagles on her way to the record. The Bull Dogs were 5-under as a team.

Nathaly Munnicha carded a 3-under 34 for North, while Alex Munnicha added a 37 and Molly Donnell shot 39. Julia Luken had a 40, Annie Anderson finished with a 42, Nicole Duncan shot 46 and Yestika Nischol had a 48.

VOLLEYBALL

South Decatur wins

GREENSBURG — South Decatur overcame an early one-set deficit to pick up its first win of the season, a 19-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-8 decision against Crothersville.

Claire Wullenweber recorded 12 kills and six aces, and Taylor Best had 18 assists and 23 digs to lead the Cougars (1-8). Sam Goodfellow notched two blocks, and Karah Biddinger tallied 23 digs.

Stars top Trinity

BEDFORD — Trinity Lutheran and Bedford North Lawrence were tied 1-1 late in the first half, but the Stars pulled away for a 6-1 victory.

Savanna Setty scored the goal for the Cougars (2-4), after a shot by Chloe Criswell ricocheted off the post.

Bedford outshot Trinity 30-6. Genesis Munoz posted 24 saves.

BOYS SOCCER

Twisters blank Trinity

OLDENBURG — Trinity Lutheran ran into one of the state’s top small schools in a 6-0 loss at Class A No. 2 Oldenburg Academy.

Jacob Keith recorded 19 saves for the Cougars (1-2-2).
