BATON ROUGE, La. — A man who confronted burglars attempting to break-in his wife’s vehicle was shot and now authorities in Louisiana are seeking suspects.

The Advocate reports the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office says the man suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. The Sheriff’s Office released a video Monday showing two “persons of interest” and a vehicle connected to the early Sunday morning shooting.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks says a woman alerted authorities about someone trying to break-in her vehicle around 5 a.m. Her husband was shot in the arm after going outside.

Hicks says two men ran from the scene.
