Rightway Fasteners employee injured in machine

A Rightway Fasteners employee was injured in an industrial accident reported at 2:50 p.m. today at the facility at 7945 S. International Drive.

The employee became stuck in a machine and was extricated by other employees at Rightway before the Columbus Fire Department arrived, said Columbus Fire Department Battalion Chief Mark Ziegler.

The employee was treated for cardiac arrest at the scene and transported to Columbus Regional Hospital, Ziegler said.
