WATTSBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police say no troopers were hurt when a man fired several shots from a pistol and a shotgun as police investigated a reported domestic dispute.

Police say the 50-year-old man ignored troopers’ commands and threatened to kill them after they arrived at his Erie County home on Tuesday.

The Erie Times News reports (http://bit.ly/2wREtCL ) the man is accused of firing a pistol in an unknown direction and then firing two shots from a shotgun, striking tree branches and brush behind an officer.

Police say he had earlier fired a gun into the ceiling during the domestic dispute. No one inside the home was hurt.

The man was arrested and jailed on $500,000 bond.
