IRVINE, Calif. — Irvine police say they arrested two naked men armed with rifles who barricaded themselves inside an empty church before they surrendered to authorities.

Irvine police spokeswoman Kim Mohr tells the Orange County Register ( ) that a security guard at a neighboring business told police he saw two naked men entering the church on Wednesday night. SWAT team members tracked the men’s movements inside the Irvine church through a video feed. The men came out after a two-hour standoff and were taken into custody.

According to police, there are no other suspects. Authorities are unsure of what the men’s motivations were.

Mohr says the men’s names would not be released until Thursday.
