CARNEYS POINT TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Police in New Jersey are searching for a suspect who set fire to three vehicles and a trash can.

NJ.com reports (http://bit.ly/2iKiG9K ) the series of suspicious fires in Carneys Point Township started early Tuesday.

Police first received reports of a vehicle fire around 1:56 a.m. A second call about a trash bin fire and another vehicle fire came in around 2:14 a.m. Police say they received a call about a third vehicle fire about 10 minutes later.

Authorities say the fires damaged all three vehicles.

Police continue to investigate.
