KENMORE, N.Y. — An electrician has died after an accident while doing routine work at a western New York high school.

The unidentified sub-contractor was killed Wednesday while doing work inside Kenmore West High School’s electrical closet. WIVB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2elxfvd ) the Buffalo-area school district announced the death, saying the hearts and thoughts of staff are with the worker’s family and friends.

The death is under investigation.
