SPOKANE, Wash. — A woman accused of killing one person while driving drunk down Interstate 90 in Spokane has pleaded guilty.
KREM-TV reports that Carrah Goble is to be sentenced next month after pleading guilty Wednesday to vehicular homicide and other charges.
Court documents show she drove the wrong way onto an off-ramp in October 2015 before crashing. Those documents show she admitted to drinking before driving that day.
Ron Morrison was killed in the crash. His older brother, Roy Morrison, was driving along the highway that morning and stopped to help. He quickly discovered his younger brother was hurt in the crash and found him lying on the ground. He and others tried to give CPR.
Roy Morrison says the family has waited a long time for justice.
