COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — An Amber Alert for a one-year-old boy and his mother has been canceled after they were found safe.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said in the cancellation order that Zahid Adams and Samantha Adams were found on Friday. The message didn’t include any information about where police found them.

The message says that the man suspected to have kidnapped the pair hasn’t been found.

Police have said Adams’ ex-boyfriend, 22-year-old Mauricio Venzor-Gonzalez, used a gun to force her and her son from their Commerce City home into a car around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
