FREEPORT, Maine — A Maine man has died after his truck collided with a swerving car and overturned on Interstate 295 in Freeport.

Fifty-two-year-old Dana Thibeault was driving a tractor trailer cab without a load Thursday night on the interstate. The Portland Press Herald reports ( ) a van occupied by Mark and Marie Fleming swerved to avoid a deer and collided with Thibeault’s truck.

Both vehicles overturned. Thibeault died at the scene; the Flemings suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
